Brenda Sater, GBA, PresidentAdvisor in Group Insurance and PensionsBrenda has more than 25 years of experience in the field of group insurance. Initially, she worked for 4 major insurance companies. Having acquired a strong experience at these 4 major insurance companies, she founded Terina Groupe Conseil in 2012. Because of her extensive experience with the insurers, she knows the rules and is able to negotiate a tailor-made protection to meet your needs, at the lowest cost possible. As a true entrepreneur, Brenda lives and breathes the challenges facing business leaders every day. She blends a rigourous and personalized approach with quality, professional advice, and innovative tools to set Terina Groupe Conseil apart from the competition. Brenda took two and half years of courses in Computer Management and completed two Life Office Management Association (LOMA) courses. In 2005, she obtained her Group Benefits Associate designation (GBA) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and from Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS). |

During his career he has acquired a solid experience in group insurance programs. He has represented international brokerage firms as well as provincial firms. He is licensed under the Financial Market Authority (AMF) in group insurance and annuity plans and for individual insurance products. Robert holds a group insurance certificate issued by Laval University. Also, he is the founder and the leader of a network of over 1,700 professionals on the web covering technical topics and specific trends in group insurance in Canada. |

Pierre Saddik, BSc, FCIA, FSASenior ActuaryPierre is the President and founder of Saddik International Actuarial Consulting, specializing in Group Insurance, Travel and Health Insurance, Creditor, Special Risks, both in Canada and internationally. Pierre's extensive 40+ years of experience Group insurance is well recognized, covering the full spectrum of underwriting, pricing (quotes and renewals) of groups of any size, including data mining and active finance monitoring of large group accounts, valuation of liabilities, reinsurance, product development and consultation. Pierre’s product expertise extends to Travel Insurance, Expats/Inpats, Critical Illness, Special Risks, Creditor and International reinsurance. He developed the unique Saddik Self-Funding Security Index (S3I), an innovative risk-measurement tool used by Groups who consider partial self-funding of Group health and dental benefits as an alternative to the traditional fully-insured route. In his career, Pierre has also worked in collaboration with notables such as Dr Jacques Chaoulli, who pioneered Canada’s health insurance law through his involvement in the 2005 Supreme Court decision as well as Dr Philippe Couillard, past Prime Minister of Quebec. |
